Embracing Our Inner Teens
With the teenagers
As we ventured into the Anime Expo, my friend and I chaperoned her enthusiastic teenage cousins, we were the only adults amidst the crowd. Despite our mature status, we couldn’t help but laugh at the irony of how we still resembled teenagers ourselves! One of the teens donned the remarkable attire of Anbu Kakashi Hatake, sporting the kid version of the legendary character. As we strolled further, we stumbled upon another Kakashi cosplayer, this time perfectly embodying the adult version, igniting our excitement for the day ahead.

The Allure of Anime Backgrounds
Throughout the convention, our journey was adorned with plenty of anime-inspired backgrounds, creating picturesque spots to capture memories in photographs. Armed with a piece of paper bearing the emblem of my gaming guild at the time, we found ourselves creating banner pictures amidst the vibrancy of the expo. The joy in our hearts knew no bounds as we embraced the playful essence of the event.

In awe, we explored the myriad of attractions at the Anime Expo. From spellbinding cosplayers to captivating booths offering a treasure trove of freebies, costumes, and figurines, there was no shortage of amazement. Our cameras incessantly clicked as we eagerly posed with cosplayers and reveled in the captivating ambiance.

Unexpected Encounters and Artistic Marvels
Amidst the bustling crowd, my eyes were drawn to an artist’s corner, adorned with captivating artwork on display. To my delight, I recognized the distinct style of one of my favorite artists, Yuumei, whom I had been following on Deviant Art. I did not know that artists would be there. Summoning my courage, I approached her, and to my joy, she confirmed her identity. We chatted amiably, and I couldn’t resist capturing the moment with a cherished photograph. It was a delightful surprise to find artists exhibiting their talent at the expo, adding a unique dimension to the experience.
